The London Metal Exchange's copper page showed a three-month closing price of US$14,438.50 a tonne for the end of September, a level above the 2025 U.S. average of 490 cents a pound and the US$6.05 and US$5.99 a pound that Teck and Kamoa-Kakula realized in the June quarter.

A bought-deal secondary of 10,000,000 Topaz Energy shares at C$28.75 cuts Tourmaline's stake from 12.9% to 6.4%, funds repurchases under the 15.5-million-share issuer bid, and the quarterly dividend goes to C$0.525 from the fourth quarter.

After a Court of International Trade judgment on July 21, D&G/Portbec's 2015 subsidy rate was recalculated from a de minimis 0.21% to 1.05%, so cash deposits resume on its U.S. shipments; the seventh review that sets everyone else's rate is still pending.
